Instead of a New Year's resolution make a commitment to yourself.

First off pay your bills and don't do m**h.

Secondly remember it's about being healthy not losing weight. if you get winded going to get the mail or have trouble putting on your shoes eat more vegetables and move more. Use the stairs instead of the elevator park a little farther from the stores. If you pull your pants up and they won't stay up without a belt or suspenders have a hamburger or a piece of cake. Don't spend a fortune on gym memberships you're not going to use.

Third words only have the power you give them. everybody has an opinion right or wrong it's their opinion. If it upsets you or annoys you then walk away don't give somebody else that kind of power. Don't try and change their mind. You cannot teach chess to pigeons By doing this you will reduce the stress in your life and therefore outlive them.

Fourth be kind to animals and treat every person you meet As though they were already your friend. When you're out and about keep in mind the waitress or the Clerk you're dealing with probably doesn't have the final say that will make you happy in the situation. So don't give them a lot of grief they're just doing their job.

Lastly let's make drinking and ride a thing this year instead of drinking and driving.
if you commit to these simple things 2018 will be better.
