No pictures of it happening, but we were working on building a foundation for laying on the pause table for agility as well as speed in getting onto it. Well... this little dude built up so much speed on his way there that when he laid down he just skidded off the other side 😂 No harm done, he was more surprised than anything (and the table was really low). Everything this dude does though cracks me up, he's followed all my handling so effortlessly in our baby agility foundations class that I know hes gonna be a kickass sport star!

Quest is being such a great shop dog in our brand new training facility! We have a lovely retail storefront now so it's been wonderful to have a polite doggy greeter to wag his tail as customers come in. 🐶🐾💗

Day 20:

I've been working on some two-toy tugging with Quest switching on cue. This is session #2 (he was a bit faster/more focused in session #1 but that's ok).

P.S. - I have been training daily, but not video-ing daily. We're focusing lately on teaching stays, dropping items, independent leg lifts, cone wraps, nose targeting objects on the ground, extended nose target to hand, it's yer choice, and always some good ol' distraction practice out in the world.

Day 17 & 18:

Sport foundations! Quest and I are in both Agility Foundations and Intro to Nosework currently and he's a rockstar at both. This week in agility was all about cone wraps, body awareness, and ground obstacle work. Today was our first day in Nosework, so it was introducing him to the odor (birch), choosing odor over food, and understanding that sometimes odor is in boxes.

This morning he also helped me out with a shy student puppy to help bring the pup out of his shell and progress from fearful/a bit reactive to getting comfortable and even playing with other dogs.

Quest is such a versatile, stable pup, I'm so lucky to have him 💚
