Sometimes the best way to understand our dogs is to see the world from their perspective. ❤️

🐶 1. Sniffing is important!
A walk isn’t just about getting from point A to point B. Sniffing provides mental enrichment and allows your dog to explore the world through their strongest sense.

🐶 2. Rest is just as important as exercise.
More activity isn’t always better. Dogs need plenty of downtime to relax, recharge, and learn how to settle.

🐶 3. Training should be fun!
Short, positive training sessions can go a long way. You don’t need to spend hours practicing—just a few minutes throughout the day can make a difference.

Does your dog ever look at you on their own during walks, in the backyard, or while out and about? Reward it! 👀✨

Those little moments when your dog chooses to look back at you are valuable. By rewarding them, you’re teaching your dog that paying attention to you is worth it—even when there are distractions around.

Try this today:
🐶 Go somewhere with mild distractions
🐶 Wait for your dog to look at you on their own
🐶 Mark the moment with “Yes!” or a click
🐶 Give a treat or praise
🐶 Repeat and gradually increase the distractions
