As always, Howl of a Good Time is ever-evolving to meet the changing needs of my family and myself as we continue to grow and find what works and feels good. Some other changes include my first rate increase in 5 years (inflation, baby) and a more clear (and strictly enforced) cancellation policy.

I’m so lucky that word of mouth continues to be my biggest referral source, and that I have so many clients who I have known for many years now. It can be hard to increase prices and ask for what I deserve, especially when these people and their animals feel like friends. But my family is growing, my time is valuable, I’m good at what I do and I put my heart and soul into everything I do.

✨U P D A T E : it’s been about a year and a half since my last life update, and a lot has happened since then 🤗 As some of you know, in May I graduated from my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program and I am now a certified Yoga Teacher! I have some kids programs that are scheduled to begin at the parks and rec in the fall, and I start substitute teaching for Sharing Yoga this week! I am very excited to see where this yoga journey takes me, as I have such a passion for teaching it to others.

So where does that leave my passion for caring for animals? It’s my sincerest hope that I will be able to balance the two! (This does not affect any current regular or upcoming bookings!!) However, if it comes down to it, I will be prioritizing opportunities to teach yoga as I start out on this new journey. If you are a client of mine, and you don’t already have a back up animal caretaker, now might be a good time to find one just in case. My Number One Recommendation?? My teenage daughter, Raegan. She is responsible, loves animals, and is available for some of the more local visits!! Thank you again to all of the wonderful pet owners who have trusted me over the years with care of your animals! I am so blessed to be able to live such a beautiful, full and multifaceted life, caring for my kids, caring for animals, and sharing yoga 🫶🏼
