Today we’re spotlighting Kristine! She is one of our LVT’s and she is a Certified Canine Veterinary Rehabilitation Nurse and runs our rehabilitation and integrative medicine department.
We asked her a few questions and this is what she had to say:
I became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2016 and have enjoyed learning so much throughout the years from all of my colleagues. Each team member truly brings a different set of skills and knowledge to the table on each case. Team work makes the dream work!
My proudest moments in veterinary medicine come from knowing I have made a meaningful difference in an animal's life. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a Certificate in Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nursing, I value both the technical and compassionate sides of veterinary care. I am passionate about helping animals not only through traditional veterinary medicine but also by improving their mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life. I especially enjoy assisting with soft tissue surgeries, where I can apply my technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of anesthesia and patient monitoring. I also love helping patients regain strength and mobility through rehabilitation. I love being apart of the families and patient's journey from surgery and/or injury to the finish line of recovery. Being part of a team dedicated to improving animal health and well-being, and seeing patients recover and return to a better quality of life, is one of the greatest rewards of my career. I take great pride in combining my technical knowledge with compassion, patience, and a commitment to providing the best possible care for every patient.
I have always had a special soft spot for pit bulls and their big hearts. I love their goofy personalities, loyalty, and affectionate nature. They will always hold a special place in my heart!
Thank you Kristine for everything you do for our patients.🫶 You make a difference in animals lives every day!
She has two adorable dogs at home! ♥️🐾♥️
