Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be closing our business. We wanted to express our sincerest gratitude for your support throughout the years. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve you. We will always cherish the memories and relationships we have built along the way. Happy Gotcha Day Willow! ❤️
6 years ago today I drove to another state to pick up 2 byb babies known to be biters. I had no idea what to expect, but I knew those two girls were going to change our lives. And boy did they! They taught us how to manage separate groups, about how light exposure affects intact jills, what coming in to season looks like, what a jill jab is like, what spay surgery recovery looks like and how bittersweet it is to build trust with ferrets that are nearly feral. Willow had completely given up on humans but Hope desperately wanted to trust again. It took years to bring Willow around to not latching on to any flesh she could get her teeth into. Today, Willow still doesn’t have much use for humans but she does enjoy her good morning scritchins and a few minutes of play time before she’s done with people again. She’s learned to trust more as she’s gotten older and lost her hearing and her sight. When I brought them home, I promised them that this was their forever home and I’m so grateful that it was. Willow has widespread lymphoma now and her journey with us is coming to an end. Hope and Addie and Simon and Zoe are all calling her Home and she spends a lot of time dead sleeping, visiting them at The Bridge and preparing her nest with all the stash toys and food she can find.

• Three mink have made it to anonymous definite forever safety, and we are currently transferring donations to assist them.
• We will be transferring some donations to another party who wishes to remain anonymous but has gone out of pocket to assist the minkies.
• We also may have a veterinary related bill upcoming for one mink.
PENNSYLVANIA RELEASED MINK FUNDRAISER

Ok friends, we need your help! We are working to save a number of the released fur farm mink in Pennsylvania, and we have the mink farmers blessing to do so! To repeat, we have permission from the farmer to move a small number of these mink into the rescue network!

In order to remain an option for rescuing these little guys, we need funds for food, transport, and vet care! This need is urgent!

Natalie is the daughter of one of my favorite local customers. She is the sweetest little girl! She sends us handmade cards and draws pictures for us that are hanging in our shipping area. Every order that’s shipped out of here is packed beneath Natalie’s beautiful artwork. If you want to support an amazing girl, there’s some neat stuff. There’s even a mini food processor that would turn our grinds into excellent Soupies!

Update!
Finn did super great for the groomer! Sad ears didn’t work on her like they do mommy so she got him finished up really fast! Look how sad 🥺😂
