Spent the weekend at a whole horse dissection hosted at The Stables at Yellow Creek, and it was an extremely meaningful experience.

Seeing the horse layer by layer puts into perspective just how connected everything is within horse. What we do with our horses has impact that is hard to even comprehend fully. How they are managed, handled, trimmed, worked. It’s one thing to study anatomy, but seeing it in person is something I'll be unpacking in my brain for many weeks to come I'm sure.

Feeling very grateful for the opportunity to learn, for the professionals who shared their immense knowledge, and especially for the horse and owner that made this possible. What we learned from Ava will echo on futher than we can imagine. ❤️
