Here are our sweet babies at SIX weeks!

This week we have
-started to slowly ween from mama! (We eat more of our soft kibble than from mom!)
-gotten our practice crate in our nursery area!
(A small crate that they can choose to sleep in if they wish the door ALWAYS stays open but it gets them used to the feel and look of a crate)
-had our human mom move our potty area around to test us being able to find it! (And we do!)
-started getting on a sleep, potty, eat, play repeat schedule!

We will be scheduling their vaccinations this next week to get us one step closer to being ready to come home!

Babies love their “mush”! We start gradually making it more and more solid as time goes on to get them ready for dry kibble bites before they go home! They love their mush 3x a day alongside eating from mama!

“Fully support their spine.”-okay but what if one pretends to be jello?? 🤭🩷

It is raining here at southern Drawl Dachshunds!

We like to take our puppy pictures in natural light to show as true to their coloring as possible so we will be postponing pictures until tomorrow!

Thankyou everyone for your patience! 🤎
