UPDATE #2: Pumpkin is still out on the loose & has now crossed the main highway (377/67) She has been spotted in the 5 Oaks trailer park area. If you see her, please let me know when & where you see her (325.356.6397call/text). Please don't try to approach her though, she is so very skittish & scared that at this point she is just running away from people.
UPDATE: Pumpkin is hanging around in the area between my office & the railroad tracks... She is so skittish, she'll come somewhat close, but as soon as we make a move or say her name she runs the other direction. I currently have my front door tied open hoping she will come in on her own. If anyone has a big dog sized live trap that I could borrow, it would be amazing!
So this is one of those posts that I don't ever want to have to make, but sadly here I am making it. I had a last minute boarder come in last night because she's an escape artist & her owner had to make a last minute trip out of town. Unfortunately in trying to walk "Pumpkin" this morning her leash accidentally got hung up under the door & she got scared & pulled out of her harness. I'm still scratching my head at that one, because I was certain that I had it right enough that she couldn't slip out of it because I knew she was an escape artist. Anyway, if anyone sees "Pumpkin" please call me at 325.356.6397 and let me know & I will come & see if I can get her. Also another thing is that besides being an escape artist, she is pretty skittish & not very trusting of strangers.
