Hey neighbors! I've repaired all the water pipes and connectors at the front of the garden.

When watering the beds, please turn on the water in the front of the garden, then turn on the nozzle at the hose in the middle of the garden. Turn both of these off before leaving. Thanks so much!

The garden is getting a huge clean up thanks to neighbors who have stepped up and served this morning.

This page has been silent over the past year. We've struggled with regular support in the garden over the past few years. We're hoping to have this change in 2024. We're preparing for Spring and getting the beds ready for new crops.

𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙀 π™π™šπ™‘π™₯? We need neighbors to w**d beds, water plants and jump in when we have work days.

Huge thanks to the crew at Epworth United Methodist Church - Columbus, GA for working hard in the garden this morning. We have new plants in the ground and pumpkin seeds planted. Volunteers are how this space grows. Thank you so much!

This year a CSU student named Sawyer planted a variety of hot peppers in the community garden. These Trinidad Scorpions are super hot and perfect for cooking chili if you enjoy a nice heat.

We have sliced the pepper in half, removed the seeds and dropped it into the pot of chili for 2 hours on simmer. Remove it before serving so a family member doesn't receive a "surprise".

We have plenty of items you can use in your next dish. Lots of radishes are ready to bring home today.

For tonight's dinner, we added radishes, baby spinach and rainbow chard to our salad. Oregano and basil went into our pasta and on the garlic bread.

Thank you to our neighbor who mowed the property this weekend. Pulling up with a push mower and seeing it's been done already lifted a giant weight off us today.
