We sure to ❤️ our friends at Fern and Ivy’s Cat Haven, Inc! Go check them out!

💚 A special thank-you to Dr. Van Tassel for believing in me and Fern and Ivy’s Cat Haven!

Dr. Van Tassel at 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital has shown me that trust, and I am so grateful. Her recommendation helped Copper find his forever home! Knowing she believes in me and the work I’m doing through Fern and Ivy’s Cat Haven means so much, especially as I work to grow this rescue.

Dr. Van Tassel, thank you for trusting me, sending wonderful people my way, and helping give Copper this beautiful new beginning. 🐾

I also want to thank you and your caring staff for everything you do for my rescue babies. Your compassion, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond make such a difference to these cats—and to me.

Thank you for caring for them and believing in me. 💚

❤️🐾 IT TAKES A VILLAGE🐾❤️

We are SO proud to share that yesterday marked our 150th dog pulled from our partner shelter, Paws Humane Society, so far this year❤️🐾

When Paws took on the contract with the city to operate what was formerly Columbus Animal Care & Control, we promised to stand by them in any way we could. Pulling dogs from their shelter, getting them in foster homes and transport ready, then transporting them to our rescue partners is just one of the ways we help support their day-to-day operations.

We are so thankful for this partnership, for the incredible teamwork behind every transfer from Paws to Animal SOS, and for the 150 lives that have been given a second chance this year because of the dedication we share.

Here’s to continuing to work together, save lives, and make a difference for the animals who need us most❤️

Recognize any of those names listed here? We sure do see some favorites 🥰🥹

Some might say Auburn is the best team. 🏈
Some might say Bama is the best team. 🐘
Or how ‘bout them Dawgs?! ❤️🖤

But the truth is… there’s only ONE team we’re cheering for! 😉

OUR TEAM at 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital is THE BEST TEAM! 🐾🏆

Different roles, different strengths, one amazing team. We’re so proud of the people who show up every day to care for your pets and support each other. ❤️

🐾 WILD WEDNESDAY! 🐾

Today we got to have a little fun and dress up as something that represents our favorite animal! 🦁🐶🐱🐻🦊

We also took a moment to recognize a teammate who brings such positive morale to our team! 💚 Truthfully, though, ALL of our staff shows up with amazing morale, positive energy, and a genuine love for what they do. Every day, they come ready to care for your pets and give them the very best!

We truly couldn’t be luckier to have such a wonderful crew. 🥹🐾 We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

Happy Wild Wednesday! 🌿🐾

Thank you to Coco’s sweet owners for letting her join in on the pic 💕

👯‍♀️ TWIN TUESDAY! 👯‍♂️

Today we teamed up with our teammates and matched for Twin Tuesday! 🩷 It was so much fun seeing everyone coordinate and show off their team spirit!

We also took a moment today to recognize someone who truly takes initiative. But honestly… ALL of these guys do! 🥹 Every single person on our team works incredibly hard, goes above and beyond, and gives so much of themselves every day to help our patients, clients, and each other.

We are SO grateful for this team and everything they do! 🐾❤️ You guys make 2nd Ave & 2nd Home what it is! ✨

💙 HAPPY EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION WEEK! 💙

This week is so meaningful to me as a Practice Manager because it gives us the opportunity to pause from the craziness of everyday life and show our team the appreciation they truly deserve. 🥹

We kicked off the week today with Music Monday! 🎶🎸 Everyone got to wear their favorite band tee or something representing a song they love, and we even got to nominate teammates who brought the most energy! It was such a fun way to start a week all about celebrating THEM.

Every single one of these guys works tirelessly to care for your pets, support our clients, help their teammates, and keep 2nd Ave & 2nd Home moving every single day. They give so much of themselves to this hospital, and I truly could not be prouder of the team we have.

They are hardworking, caring, hilarious, compassionate, creative, and just an absolutely AWESOME group of people. ❤️

As their Practice Manager, I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside them. Material things could never truly show how grateful I am for each and every one of them, but this week gives us a chance to have a little fun, celebrate their hard work, and remind them just how much they mean to us.

We have lots of fun planned all week long, so stay tuned as we celebrate the BEST TEAM AROUND! 🐾🎉

Happy Employee Appreciation Week from all of us at 2nd Ave & 2nd Home! 💙🐶🐱

-Kenzie ❤️
