Walk-ins are welcome or Book ahead! There’s no exam fee, and most visits take about 15 minutes! Our first date is going to be 9/12/2026.

🐾❤️ We couldn’t let National Dog Day pass without taking a minute to acknowledge our own pets for this special day! ❤️🐾

Our sweetest loves. The ones who wait for us to come home every day. Our heart dogs. Our babies. 🥹🐶

So many personalities, so many different sizes. Some big, some small, some goofy, some cuddly, but we love them all. 🐾

They may only be a part of our lives, but to them, we are their whole world. ❤️

So tonight, give your pets an extra big hug, sneak them an extra treat, and remind them just how loved they are. 🐶🐱💕

✨Operational Update✨

Starting September 1, 2026 our spay/neuter programs will be limited to Muscogee County residents. While it’s bittersweet to step back from serving our neighbors in Russell and Harris Counties - we’re also looking forward to focusing more deeply on our immediate community to make the largest possible impact right here at home. 🐾

That means if you’re a Russell or Harris County resident who has been on the fence about getting your pet fixed through one of our programs - now is your last chance! We still have several spots available through the end of August.

Say hello to Rian, formerly known as Monet at our local shelter❤️

This little old man came into the shelter as a stray, already neutered and even microchipped. It was obvious that someone had loved this sweet boy at some point.

Unfortunately, there was one heartbreaking problem: His microchip was never registered.

The shelter team did everything they could to try to find his family, but with no owner information connected to his chip, there was ultimately no one to contact.

So, Rian's story took a different turn… and while we will forever wish we could have helped get him back home, we have promised to help find him a new family to love him the rest of his days. 🐾

But his story is also a really important reminder:

A microchip only works if it's registered and your information is kept up to date.

If you're not sure whether your pet's chip is registered, or you don't know your pet's microchip number, don't panic!

🐾 Any vet clinic, Columbus Fire Station, or animal shelter can scan your pet and give you their microchip number.

🐾 24PetWatch is a great option for registering a microchip, including chips from other brands. They also operate a database commonly used by shelters to look up microchip information.
