If you’ve ever wondered why we love what we do… it’s these faces. 🥹

Every pup that walks through our doors becomes part of our Barks & Rec family 💚 Getting to know their little personalities, watch their friendships grow, and be greeted by those happy faces every day is something we never take for granted.

Thank you for trusting us with your best friends. We’re pretty lucky to call this work. 🐾🐶🐾

Happy National Dog Day!

Our Barks family is paws-itively perfect. 💚🐾🐶🌈

⛈️🐾 COLUMBUS — LET US HELP.

Storms hit our community hard. Between tornadoes, flooding, downed trees and widespread power outages, we know a lot of our neighbors are walking in to damage, cleanup and a whole lot of uncertainty.

If you’re trying to figure out what to do next, let us take one thing off your plate: your dog. ❤️

For families directly impacted by the storms, Barks & Rec will be opening a number of COMPLIMENTARY DAYCARE SPOTS while you clean up, deal with damage, wait for power to return or simply try to get life back in order.

We’d also like to extend this to first responders, utility workers and others working long hours to help our community recover.

No hoops. No proving you “need it enough.” We trust our community. Just reach out and let us know you were impacted.

🐶 Space will be limited to our normal capacity and once that number has reached we can offer the next day.
🐶 Dogs must meet our normal vaccination and safety requirements
🐶 Current Barks clients and new families are welcome to reach out

Sometimes helping your community means doing what you already know how to do.

We know dogs. You take care of home. We’ll take care of them. 🐾❤️

Please SHARE this so it reaches the families who need it.
