Last month we made the trek out to Wisconsin to attend the Renaissance Cluster show circuit! It was our first time attending this cluster and the Siberian Husky Club of Chicago held specialties at it, as well. So we got to show 5 times in just 3 days! We had a really great time seeing friends and stretching our confo muscles after a few months off since our National Specialty ✨

It’s a good time to announce that we joined the program! We’re so excited to continue showcasing all of the fun AKC sports we play in 🥳 From conformation, agility, rally, scentwork, UpDog, and more, we will continue to show all of you some of the many fun things you can do with your dogs.

Spectre recently went High In Trial in obedience at the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Chicago shows! He was competing against 11 other Siberians and scored 189.5 👏 Congratulations to his amazing handler, Suzie!

Actaea is chipping away at that disc dog bronze title! Crazy how much we’ve both fallen in love with disc. It’s been a very fun adventure!

Actaea and I have played Throw N Go, Time Warp, Greedy, 4WayPlay, and Fireball so far! She’s over halfway to her Bronze Up in Throw N Go and I think close to halfway to it in 4WayPlay. She has only competed in disc for 5 official trial days over 4 weekends, too!

At her final bite club of the year she put up a new personal best in each game she played! In her last event of the year, she met her PB in Throw N Go and played 4WayPlay for the first time and then beat that PB the next day.

Excited to see how she continues to do. I believe there are only 4 Siberians total currently playing in UpDog, one of which is her nephew 🫶🏻

Kuiper’s Dream Out Loud, Zora, has been taking her time growing up and being an amazing auntie.

Her owner Erika also owns and breeds Beaucerons and Zora quickly took up the role of doting aunt to her Beauceron litter. She just loves spending time with the puppies, playing with them, and helping socialize them to different dogs 🫶🏻 Zora would like everyone to know those are her puppies, but their mother Séance might have something to say about that 😂

Whoops, I never posted a National recap!

Actaea competed in agility and Q’d both of her JWW runs winning first in her classes! This completed her first agility title, NAJ 🤗 She also competed on team “The Jona Bunch” in Novice Rally Teams and we collectively placed second 🩷

At the LEASH pre-specialty, Tae took second in her large bred by adult class under breeder judge Mel Burton!

Then at the SHCA pre-specialty, she took fourth in her large bred by class under breeder judge Delbert Thacker!

It was such a fun week and it was so nice to catch up with friends near and far. I had a great time running a breed history trivia night too! We definitely surpassed any expectations I had going into the National and I am so grateful for this fun little dog. Huge thank you to Suzie for sharing a campsite with me to make this happen, too!

Huge thank you to the judges for finding Actaea in a big line up of lovely dogs. It was a boost of serotonin that was desperately needed 🫶🏻

Fenfen made her scentwork debut!

She Q’d all 8 runs split between novice interiors and containers, earning her SIN and SCN titles pending AKC! She had a lot of fun and was very excited to be trialing again after almost a year away from sports trials.

She is now CH Highlander’s Eve of Darkness RA NAP NJP NFP✨SIN✨✨SCN✨DCAT ACT1 CGCA TKA ATT
