Inter-Urban Farms Inter-Urban Farms promotes vertical farming methods in urban areas as a means of economic and community development.

To begin, Inter-Urban Farms is purchasing a Freight Farm. This self-contained unit grows food year-round using vertical farming methods which allows for higher efficiencies during the growing process. The produce from the Freight Farm will be sold to local businesses and individuals. With the purchase of the initial Freight Farm, Inter-Urban Farms will expand, furthering the implementation of vert

ical farming through self-contained units with the end goal of building a large-scale system that yields
more output. Each larger system will hold events and classes meant to educate people about efficient, eco-friendly farming methods, diet, and food preparation. Local chefs will be featured to cook with the produce grown by our vertical farms. This education brings the community closer to their food, promotes transparency and
integrity with their food.
