🐾 Please Join Us in Welcoming Dr. Heather Rodriguez to Double Churches Animal Clinic! 🐾

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Rodriguez to the Double Churches Animal Clinic family! 💙

A Florida native, Dr. Rodriguez’s love for animals began growing up on a small hobby farm. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and brings more than a decade of veterinary experience to our team!

Throughout her career, her husband’s Army career has taken their family across the country, giving her the opportunity to practice in a variety of veterinary settings—including a unique experience caring for racing sled dogs along the Iditarod Trail!

Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about providing personalized care, building trusting relationships with pets and their families, and helping clients feel confident and informed about their pets’ health. Her special interests include preventive medicine, acupuncture, internal medicine, and dentistry.

After years of moving with the Army, Dr. Rodriguez and her family are excited to make Columbus their permanent home. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her son, and her Standard Poodle, Charlie.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Rodriguez joining our team and can’t wait for you to meet her! Help us give her a warm welcome in the comments below! 👇🐾

Our Double Churches Animal Clinic family is heartbroken by the recent loss of Nicole Nikki Karastury Elliott, who was a valued member of our team in 2017.

Nikki was a wonderful veterinary assistant and a caring person who had a special place in her heart for our senior and geriatric patients. She brought compassion, patience, and genuine love to the animals in her care, and we were grateful to have her as part of our clinic family.

Most importantly, Nikki leaves behind three children, who are now facing life without their mother. We would love to come together as a community to help provide some support for them during this incredibly difficult time.

If you are able, please consider making a donation to their GoFundMe. Every contribution, no matter the size, can help, and if you aren't able to donate, sharing this post is also a meaningful way to help.

💙 Please keep Nikki's children and family in your thoughts and prayers.

💙 A Bittersweet Announcement💙

After 10 wonderful years with our clinic, Dr. Boone is beginning a new chapter and his last day with our clinic will be on Friday, September 4.

It’s hard to put into words how much Dr. Boone has meant to our clinic family. For the past decade, he has cared for countless patients, supported their families, shared so many laughs and memories with our team, and touched more lives than he probably realizes.

We are incredibly grateful for the years we’ve had with him and for the compassion, dedication, and friendship he has brought to our clinic. While we will certainly miss seeing him each day, we are excited for him as he takes this next step.

Thank you, Dr. Boone, for 10 amazing years. You will always be a part of our clinic family, and we wish you nothing but happiness and success in whatever comes next. ❤️🐾

We want to assure our clients that our commitment to you and your pets remains unchanged. Our veterinary team will continue to provide the compassionate, personalized care you have come to expect from Double Churches Animal Clinic.
