‼️‼️HAPPY NATIONAL VET TECH WEEK to all of our amazing technicians & assistants‼️‼️
Our veterinary technicians and assistants wear many hats on a daily basis. Whether they are drawing blood, taking xrays, assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, or comforting their patients, they all give 200% to their job.
Each and every one of these incredible people play a vital role here at Macon Road Veterinary Clinic. Thank you for all you do for our clients and patients.

This morning, Macon Road Veterinary Clinic had the honor of caring for retired working dog, K9 Jimi. Jimi served with the United States Army Special Forces and then served with the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office. Due to declining health, K9 Jimi was put to rest and received his final call.
Macon Road Vet has been caring for local K9s for several years now. We take great pride in providing support and care for our 4 legged heroes.
Rest easy K9 Jimi. You were the bravest and goodest boy.

25 years later, we remember all those lost and affected by the events of September 11, 2001. We also remeber all the rescue crews and working dogs that assisted in the search and recovery process. Reading stories of these amazing K9s shows just how loving, dedicated, and brave man's best friend truly are.

‼️‼️K9 Havoc Update‼️‼️

Almost 2 months after being injured in the line of duty, K9 Havoc is exceeding doctors' expectations with his recovery. He is continuing to have follow ups with the doctors and surgeons at Auburn University and also seeing our veterinary team for daily laser treatments to aid in his healing process. K9 Havoc is the epitome of strength and determination. His handler, Cpl Wilson, has been diligently by his side, and has done an exceptional job in ensuring the best care possible.
Thank you to the Columbus Police Department for entrusting Macon Road Veterinary Clinic with the continued care of not only K9 Havoc but all of your working K9s on the department. We are truly grateful for your service. 💙🐾🚔🐾🖤
