Leroy is a 6 month old here for obedience training. Leroy also has a bit of fear and anxiety we are going to try to help. Typically, when pups have anxiety and fear they go fast because they aren’t calm and relaxed. We work to sloooow them down.🐢 It helps to teach relaxing and that not everything is so scary! Australian shepherds aren’t know for going slow, so this will be a fun challenge! We got this, Leroy!💙🦥🐌

🐾Days at the lake look a little different, but the love of the water has stayed strong! Hank doesn’t swim as much as he used to, but he’s just as happy to sit in the water nowadays.🐾💦

🐾We tell people that if you want a dog you can take places, you have to take your dog places. Even simple small errands👉🏼grocery pickup🍓, coffee runs☕️, kid’s sports games⚽️. This is a pic of Hank waiting outside a coffee shop while I go in to order and wait for my coffee. There were other people sitting on the patio, but because of the training we’ve put into him, he just patiently waits.🥰🐾

🐾Teaching the art of doing nothing. Puppies are busy! They play hard and they sleep hard. One thing that needs to be taught is to do nothing and learn how to relax. An easy way to do that is sit on your front porch and watch the world go by. It takes practice and patience (for you and your pup sometimes!) but it’s a fabulous thing to teach a puppy!🐶🩵🐾

🐾When you’re training a Dalmatian puppy, you always show them 101 Dalmatians. It teaches them, not just obedience, but also the dangers of the world!😜🖤🤍🖤🤍
