🐾❤️ PSA: POSSIBLE SIGHTING OF TINKERBELL! ❤️🐾
Back on January 2nd, our sweet Tinkerbell broke out of her carrier while being transported to a veterinary clinic and has been missing ever since.
Today, October 22nd, two of our staff members spotted a cat near our shelter who looks remarkably similar to Tinkerbell! While we cannot confirm that it is her just yet, the resemblance has given us hope that we may finally be one step closer to bringing her home. ❤️
Tinkerbell is now almost 15 years old and is front declawed, making her safety and well-being especially concerning. She has always been a bit of a nervous girl, and after nearly nine months outdoors, we can only imagine how cautious she may be.
Tomorrow, October 23rd, our staff hopes to begin efforts to hopefully safely capture her using a humane live trap.
We are asking our community to please continue helping us monitor the area surrounding our shelter!
🐾 PLEASE DO NOT chase, approach, or attempt to catch her. Tinkerbell can be timid, and we want to avoid frightening her or causing her to leave the area.
🐾 Please do not disturb any humane traps or interfere with trapping efforts.
🐾 If you spot a cat matching Tinkerbell’s description, please contact our shelter with the location, time of the sighting, and any photos you may have.
Tinkerbell is a Brown Tabby and White Domestic Long Hair.
Our hearts are especially with Tinkerbell’s foster mom and employee, Paula, who has missed her dearly since the day she disappeared. We know how much this sweet girl meant to her, and we are praying that this is the reunion she has been waiting so long for. ❤️
We don’t want to get our hopes up too high until we know for certain, but after nearly nine months of wondering where Tinkerbell is, the possibility of finding her means more than words can express.
Please keep Tinkerbell, her foster mom, and our team in your thoughts and prayers as we work toward bringing this sweet senior girl back to safety.
Thank you to everyone who continues to keep an eye out for Tinkerbell. We are holding onto hope that our girl will finally make it home. ❤️🐾
