Our team is always happy to support our community, and help ensure the health and safety of pets in our home towns! This is our third vaccine clinic of the last year in conjunction with Polk County Animal Control and we always have fun!

The Polk County Sheriff's Office would like to thank Dr. Nick Buchanan and his crew from Bonnie Brae Vet Hospital. We would also like to thank Riley Belue, Pam Waters, Lani Hasslebring, Nancy Phelps and Sarah McDonald for volunteering to ensure that the Spring 2026 Rabies Clinic held at the Sunny View Fire Department was a success.

There were over 83 animals vaccinated to not only safeguard our pets but also to enhance the safety of our community.

Lastly, we would like to extend our appreciation to our Animal Control Officers Patti Lovelace and Samantha Herrington as this event concluded "Animal Control Appreciation Week". We appreciate their dedication to the safety of both our county's animals and our community.

Big news from the Bonnie Brae team!

After 8 years with us, 8 years of dedication, hard work, and heart, Meaghan decided to take the next step in her career and is now officially a Registered Veterinary Technician after passing her VTNE! 🩺🐾

We've watched her grow so much over the years, and this milestone is so well deserved. Her commitment to our patients, clients, and team never goes unnoticed, and we are beyond proud to celebrate this achievement with her.
