An edge like this has to be felt to be understood. You could legitimately shave your face with this blade.

Is your knife damaged or inoperable but out of warranty?

In addition to sharpening knives, I also repair them. This $200+ Emerson CQC-15 was rendered almost completely inoperable due to the blade swinging too far backward when opening, causing the locking bar to move too far to the right.

To remedy this, I milled a new, thicker, blade stop pin to prevent the blade from swinging too far backward. As you can see in the pictures, the blade now locks up perfectly and solidly.

Hello, I've been sharpening knives since I was a little boy and have recently decided that this skill should be putting money in my pocket. I have the equipment to put razor sharp, mirrored edges on any type of steel. Right now I am only sharpening pocket knives, hunting knives, and tactical knives. I may expand to kitchen knives in the future if there is significant demand. $5 for basic sharpening, $10 for a mirrored edge, $5 for disassembly/cleaning/tuning.
