Beacon finishes the 2026 Chinese Shar Pei Nationals in Texas with making the first cut under National Specialty judge David Williams! I am so proud of this 15 month old girl and everything she has accomplished at such a young age. None of this would be possible without Judy Ellis, I am so thankful for everything she has done.

These are the memories I will hold near and dear! 🥹🥳👏🎉

"The 'brush coat', while not as short as the 'horse coat', should have harsh texture. Although Shar-Pei means "sandy coat", the
'brush coat', up to one inch in length at the withers, is as acceptable as the 'horse coat'. One coat should not be preferred over the other." AKC Breed Standard
