It has been a while since I have talked about myself and how I see training.
I am a force free, skilled based trainer. I believe every dog is different, every family is different which is why I take an individualized approach with every dog I work with.
I want to help them understand what is expected of them, build confidence, learn how to make good choices, and ultimately become a dog that can enjoy more freedom with their family.
I don't believe in putting every dog into the same box.
A young puppy may need something completely different from a dog struggling with reactivity. I look at the individual dog, their temperament, their environment, and what their family wants to accomplish.
And one of the most important parts of my training is teaching the owner, too.
That's what I want Born For Dogs to be about creating dogs that are more confident, more reliable, and easier for their families to enjoy.
