At 6 months old, Kipper was a very good boy at his first UKC show and worked very hard to focus in the ring. Despite being the youngest in the group lineups… he pulled a ✨Group 1✨ (and Group 2)! 🤩

We walked away with 3 Best of Breeds in an entry of 7 Collies. 💙

I will not be showing much for a while as I study for boards and manage relocating, so this was a memorable way to transition into our brief hiatus from the ring.

Happy 6 month birthday 🎂 to The Great Pumpkin Litter! 🎃 Everyone seems to be so happy and enjoying their puppies, and that makes me absolutely elated. It is so beautiful to hear about how all of their early training and exposures (Puppy Culture, ENS, friendly dogs, many human visitors) have gone a long way in their daily lives both at home and out and about.

⭐️BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!⭐️

I don’t really know what to say, as I haven’t placed amongst this much competition before. 🥰 I’m just so proud of Kipper and for showing my first bred by. He makes me work for his short puppy attention span, but he just loves being in the ring.

(…Just focus on the ribbons, not on how he was not stacked well here 😅)

Kipper at 5 months nailing his first win photo: Baby Puppy Herding Group 2 on Sunday after a Group 3 on Saturday! The herding group had the largest puppy entry, so I was very proud.

He is such a happy boy and enjoyed his first AKC experience in Louisville. He loved the judges, along with anyone else who wanted to see him.

Baby puppy struttin’ his stuff at his very first show! 🩵 After earning 2x Herding Group 1’s and 2x Herding Group 2’s, Kipper has decided that he’s a pro and likes to kangaroo hop 🦘 into his stacks.
