This season, Padres strikeouts made an impact far beyond the ballpark ⚾
Each time Padres pitchers reached 9 or more strikeouts in a game, fans unlocked 25% off at Petco the following day, while Petco Love contributed $500 to organizations making a difference in local animal welfare efforts.
Over the course of the season, those big moments on the mound turned into $40,000 in total donations, including $20,000 each for Kane's k9s and Shelter To Soldier .
Those donations will help connect pets with loving homes and provide veterans and families with the life-changing support of service animals.
