Our veterinary and animal care teams have been monitoring Cenzoo’s health for several months after noticing changes in his condition.🦍💙

In this video, Dr. Weber shares what we know at this time based on those evaluations, what has been done so far, and how we will continue to monitor him and share updates as they become available.

Thank you for caring about Cenzoo and the animals in our care.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Midlands over the next couple of days, with temperatures expected to climb near 100°F.

If you're visiting Riverbanks, please remember to HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE! 💧 Bring a refillable water bottle and take advantage of water fountains and refill stations throughout the park.

Need a break from the heat? Cool off in some of our indoor spaces, including:
🦭 Underwater viewing at Sea Lion Landing
🐦 Riverbanks Birdhouse
🐍 The Aquarium & Reptile Conservation Center

We want all our guests, and animals to stay safe and comfortable during these extreme temperatures. Plan ahead, seek shade when needed, and enjoy your visit responsibly!

It’s World Oceans Day! 💙🌊

Today, we’re celebrating the blue heart of our planet and the amazing animals that depend on healthy oceans to thrive and that we’re all connected to the ocean through the water we use, the food we eat, and the choices we make every day.

Want to help protect our oceans? Small actions can make a big splash:
♻️ Reduce single-use plastics
🚮 Dispose of trash properly
💧 Conserve water
🌱 Support sustainable practices

Together, we can help keep our oceans clean, healthy, and full of life for generations to come.

Add a splash of color to your weekend at Riverbanks! ✨

Meet our flock of Coconut Lorikeets, more than 30 vibrant parrots that fill the aviary with brilliant blues, bold reds, and sunny yellows. Native to Papua New Guinea and surrounding islands, these fascinating birds use their specialized brush-tipped tongues to sip nectar and pollen from flowers.

Swing by the Lorikeet Aviary next to Koala Knockabout to see them in action, or take your visit to the next level with an Explore More card and step inside the aviary for an unforgettable up-close experience!

Meet one of the desert’s cutest survival experts, the Arabian Sand Cat! 🏜️

Don’t let their tiny size fool you, these pint-sized predators weigh just 3–7.5 pounds, can hear prey moving underground, and even hunt venomous snakes!

Built for life in the harsh desert, sand cats can withstand temperatures from 31°F to 124°F and get all the water they need from the food they eat.

At Riverbanks, you can spot Nadya, our resident sand cat, year-round in the Riverbanks Conservation Outpost Tunnel! 💙

Help us celebrate sisters Savannah and Sophia Grace on this ! 🦦

Our resident North American River Otters serve as playful ambassadors to their wild counterparts, helping guests make up close connections to this important keystone species. A healthy otter population is a great sign of clean, thriving waterways. By protecting our rivers and streams we protect otters as well as so many other species right in our backyards.

Want to see these amazing animals in action? Stop by Otter Run located in the main plaza between Guest Relations and Grizzly Ridge!🩵
