Hi Friends,
This week we learned that one of our longest and bestest pals, Atticus, passed away. Atticus was such a special boy. He was with us for almost 10 years and came to school almost every single day.
Atticus was always full of s***k and never failed to make us laugh. He was SO goofy! He loved sunbathing in the run, yelling with his friends, and sitting on the chairs in his classroom to keep watch (he definitely thought he was a teacher here). Atticus was also an escape artist, and was notorious for getting out of his kennel. He always kept us on our toes!
Atticus loved our staff dearly, and our staff loved him just as much. The bonds that our staff built with Atticus over the years was very special to us. Atticus had a hard time trusting in general, so it meant a lot to know that he felt comfortable and safe enough to learn to trust and love our staff. We will always cherish that.
It’s still hard to believe that Atticus won’t be walking through our doors again, or be here to demand cuddles and treats from our staff. But we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace, and no longer in pain.
Atticus, Coventry will never be the same without you, but we will forever treasure all of the wonderful moments that we shared together over the years. We hope you’re running wild and soaking up the sun.
We will love you forever, bud🩵
