FOUR. YEARS. IN. A. ROW. 🏆🐾

Columbia — you did it again! You voted us CommunityVotes Platinum Winner for Pet Training for 2026, and that makes four straight years: 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026.

We don’t take a single one of those votes for granted. Thank you to every family from Columbia to Jefferson City, Moberly, Fulton, Mexico, and Boonville who’s trusted us with their dog — the wild puppies, the stubborn teenagers, the ones who just needed somebody to believe they could get there. This one has your paw prints all over it. 💙

We love this community, we love your dogs, and we’re just getting started. 🐶

Halloween is coming... and your dog has already heard the doorbell in their dreams 😂🎃🔔

Here’s the part most people miss: a calm Halloween night doesn’t start with “place.” It starts with a fulfilled dog. 🐾

Step zero: fill their cup. Play their game — tug, fetch, chase — and let them WIN. Take the sniffy walk. A dog whose needs are met can actually settle. A pent-up one is fighting biology, and biology usually wins 😅

Then teach the chill spot. Send them to their bed, reward the quiet, and practice the real thing this week: knock, ring, open, close. Two minutes at a time is plenty. By the 31st, the doorbell is just... a noise. 🤷‍♀️
And if your dog isn’t there yet? Quiet room, door closed, zero shame. That’s not failing — that’s smart dog ownership, and it’s exactly what we’d tell our own clients. ❤️

Swipe for the full game plan + our Halloween night checklist, and hit save — future you (mid-doorbell-chaos) says thanks. 📌

Tell us in the comments: is your dog a doorbell greeter 🎉, a couch supervisor 👀, or a hide-under-the-bed professional 🙈?

What a weekend. ❤️

We went to the OLK9 Summit in Fredericksburg, VA, and learned from trainers who have truly shaped the dog world.

Michael Ellis has spent 40+ years teaching trainers all over the world how dogs learn. His work changed how our whole industry trains.

Bob & Erika Solimini are icons in protection sports. Bob is one of the most respected decoys in the country — he was the only American ever selected to decoy the World Championships in France, and his skill has raised the standard for everyone.

Jay Jack changed the conversation around fulfilling a dog’s natural drives through play. Trainers everywhere train differently because of him.

Stephanie Vichinsky is changing lives through behavior work, giving hope to dogs others counted out.

Larry Krohn built Pak Masters after 20+ years as a federal agent, and he’s become one of the most trusted voices in the country for teaching owners how to actually communicate with their dogs.

Omar Von Muller competed in Schutzhund and French Ring before becoming the trainer celebrities and Hollywood studios call when they need a dog to perform on camera.

Cameron & Kristina Carlisle keep the heart of working dog sports alive, all for the love of the dogs.

These aren’t just speakers. They’re the people who moved this industry forward.

And now, everything they taught us is coming home to your dogs. 🐾

To Nick White: thank you for pouring your heart into your trainers. Because of you, we get to do what we love and keep getting better at it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Doug said he’s here for the ✨character development✨ 😂🐾

One week of training, field trips, learning some manners, and apparently serving looks in front of The Workshop. 🤌🏼

Welcome to your Board & Train era, Doug. 😎

🐾 BREED SPOTLIGHT: THE BEAUCERON 🇫🇷

Meet Nemo! A new member of the Off Leash pack!

Think this puppy is a Doberman, Rottweiler, or German Shepherd mix? You’re not alone. 😂

The Beauceron is a rare French working breed known for being intelligent, athletic, loyal, and incredibly versatile.

A few fun facts:

🐾 They have double dewclaws on their back legs — they’re supposed to be there!

🧠 They’re extremely smart and love having a job.

💪 Beaucerons excel in herding, obedience, tracking, agility, and protection sports.

❤️ They tend to bond very closely with their people and are naturally watchful.

🐕 They’re also slow to mature, so you may have a big dog with a puppy brain for quite a while. 😂

Fun fact: They’re sometimes called “Bas Rouge,” or “red stockings,” because of the reddish markings on their legs.

Had you ever heard of a Beauceron before? And what breed would you have guessed this puppy was? 👀

September 11, 2001 changed our country forever.

Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day…husbands, wives, parents, children, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who never made it home.

We remember those we lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the incredible bravery of the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and everyday people who ran toward danger to help others.

We also honor the search and rescue dogs and their handlers who worked tirelessly through the rubble, searching for survivors, assisting in recovery, and bringing comfort during an unimaginable time.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the courage shown, and the heroes, both two-legged and four-legged, who answered the call.

9.11.01 🇺🇸🐾
We will never forget.
