Catching those lingering Friday night golden hour vibes down by the Susquehanna River. ✨🌅

I had a little fun editing this one—I used a warm filter to let that gorgeous Columbia sunset wash over the whole scene, but I kept Indigo’s striking natural blue eyes completely untouched. She is looking absolutely stunning!

Speaking of stunning... we are crossing our fingers and paws for some very exciting news! If everything goes as expected, this beautiful girl is going to have a summer pairing, which means she will be a first-time mama! 🐾🍼

Send some good vibes our way!

🇺🇸 Remembering the True Meaning of Today 🇺🇸

Today is about so much more than barbecues and a long weekend. It is a day of heavy hearts and profound gratitude as we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
This holiday holds a deeply personal space in my heart. Having spent years as an Active Duty Army Wife, I know firsthand the weight of military life. Kianna and Isaiah’s dad served our country with deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. While my current husband, Isaac, does not have a military affiliation, our family will always carry a profound respect for the military community and the families left behind.

To the Gold Star families grieving today: we see you, we honor your loved ones, and we promise never to forget the cost of the freedoms we enjoy every single day ❤️🤍💙🕊️

🌉 Columbia, PA: A Legacy of Sacrifice and Bravery 🌉

Here in Columbia, Pennsylvania, our local history is deeply intertwined with the courage of those who fought to protect our nation. Our town sits right along the Susquehanna River, and during the American Civil War, it became the site of a pivotal moment of sacrifice.

In late June of 1863, Confederate troops were advancing rapidly through Pennsylvania, with their sights set on crossing the river into Lancaster County to march toward Harrisburg and Philadelphia. To stop them, Union militia, local townsfolk, and a company of Black volunteers made a heartbreaking but necessary decision: they rigged the mile-long, wooden Columbia-Wrightsville covered bridge with explosives and burned it to the water line 🧨🔥

The flames halted the Confederate advance dead in its tracks. Because the South couldn't cross the Susquehanna here in Columbia, they were forced to turn back—a maneuver that directly led to the forces converging at the Battle of Gettysburg just days later. The stone pylons left behind in the river stand to this day as a permanent monument to the incredible sacrifices made right in our own backyard to protect the North 🌊🇺🇸

🤝 Give Back: Support K9s For Warriors 🐶

In honor of our brave heroes today, we've attached a donation button to this post for K9s For Warriors. This incredible organization rescues shelter dogs and trains them to become life-saving service animals for veterans battling PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and other unseen wounds of war.

If you are able, please consider tapping the "Donate" button below. It is a beautiful way to honor the fallen by supporting those who are still fighting. Every little bit helps—you’re not just saving a rescue dog's life, you’re giving a veteran their life back! 🙏🐾🇺🇸

As many of you know, I have recently been navigating the profound loss of my brother, Jason. It has been three weeks since he passed, and while our family is still living through what feels like a nightmare, the support from this community has been a beacon of light.

I want to start by saying a massive thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our story, or reached out with kind words. Your generosity is helping me honor Jason’s beautiful spirit and support my stepmom, Robin, as she navigates the unimaginable loss of both of her biological children.

To help reach our goals, I am focusing my creative energy on designing custom jerseys and apparel. These designs serve two vital purposes:

Raising Funds: All profits from these items go directly toward Jason’s memorial, an inclusive river ceremony, and a "Forever Keepsake" for Robin.

Building Awareness: As someone who lives with autism and ADHD, and with Jason having had ADHD, I am using these designs to advocate for Su***de Awareness and Prevention within the Neurodivergent community. We are fighting to spark the conversations that are so desperately needed to support those facing extreme mental and emotional overwhelm.

How You Can Help:

We are currently $4,180 short of our $5,000 goal. Whether you choose to wear a jersey in support or donate directly, every bit of help brings a mother, a sister, and her children closer to finding a small piece of peace.

Thank you for standing with my family during this time. Your compassion means more to us than words can say.

With love and gratitude,

Peace, Love & Pomskies has endured a devastating loss this week. I lost my step-brother, but don’t let the "step" fool you—we were closer than blood. Jason was my best friend, a shoulder to cry on, and a playful reminder of the joy we shared growing up. While my own grief is heavy, the pain my stepmother, Robin, is enduring is truly unbearable.

After losing her daughter, Heather, in 2021, Robin has now said goodbye to her son, Jason. Having lost both of her only children, she is facing a nightmare no mother should walk through alone. Robin raised me with a love that saved me, and now I am choosing to stand up for her.

I am raising $3,500 to surprise Robin with two heartfelt tributes: a "Forever Keepsake" and a special musical performance of her favorite song for Jason at his Birthday Celebration of Life. I have such fond memories of singing this song with each of them over the years, and I want this performance to be a beautiful, healing surprise.
Whether it is the cost of a coffee or simply sharing this post, your support shows Robin she is seen and loved. Let’s help this go viral for a mother who has given everything to her children and our community.

Repost if you agree—

Pomskies are rooted in Husky genetics and were never meant to be bred down to true Pomeranian size.

This creates serious risks for both mom and puppies—
it’s not just risky, it’s unethical.

This is something many buyers don’t realize. 🤍
