Day 3!

This week, we’re celebrating EVERY member of our small but mighty team. Because it takes so much more than cuddles and cute faces to run a shelter, and every single person plays an important role in caring for the animals who depend on us. ❤️

From juggling a million tasks and putting out fires to supporting each of us to learn and grow, these two amazing women are the glue that holds this shelter together!

We appreciate everything you do, even the things most people never see!

TAWNY IS ALONE... AGAIN!!!😭

This is the THIRD time that all of Tawny's roommates have been adopted, and she is left behind without her forever home. 💔

She is the sweetest girl with the BEST purr! She does have a little DIVA in her, but who doesn't love some purr-sonality!?

DAY 2!

We are spotlighting our amazing shelter staff: Michelle & Kat!

Working in animal welfare is so much more than cuddling cute kitties (although that IS a pretty great perk! 😻). It takes patience, compassion, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. From caring for our shelter residents and keeping them happy and healthy to making sure every kitty gets the fur-ever home they deserve, Kat and Michelle play an important role in making CAS a special place.

HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK!

This week, we’re celebrating the AMAZING people who make so much of what we do possible! 🩺🐱🐶

At Columbia Animal Shelter, we may have a small team, but our hearts are BIG, and our dedication to the animals in our care is even bigger. Every single day, our staff shows up with compassion, patience, hard work, and an incredible amount of love for the pets who depend on us. ❤️

Animal welfare isn’t always easy, and veterinary medicine takes a special kind of heart. The long days, emotional moments, messy jobs, and endless to-do lists are all worth it when we see an animal heal, learn to trust, or finally find their fur-ever home. 🐾

Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, your resilience, and for being the voices of the animals who cannot speak for themselves. You make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for YOU!

Help us celebrate our small but mighty staff this week! THANK YOU!
