Not every patient wants to sit inside and talk about it — and Dr. Lemley loves that!🦎😂

Sometimes a little fresh air and quality time is the right approach. ☀️

Our team at Banks got some hands-on practice bandaging, casting and splinting under the guidance of orthopedic specialist Dr. Rathgeber from South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care. Hagrid and friend were very patient practice partner’s for the team to sharpen their skills. 🐾💛☺️

We had three very distinguished visitors at Banks yesterday and we were obsessed!

One took it easy after a procedure while the other two made sure the crackers didn’t go to waste. 😊🐀

*cc for more cuteness from their appointment!

You may have noticed this little
Shar-Pei in our last post.

Those signature wrinkles are adorable, but the breed can also be prone to entropion—a painful condition that causes the eyelids to roll inward and irritate the eyes.

Dr. Banks performed surgery to provide some much-needed relief, and soon enough, he was back to focusing on more important things. 🎾🐶

Happy Friday from a few of the faces that made our week at Banks. Thank you for trusting us with your furry friends 🐾💛

At just 4 days old, these little Rottweilers haven't even opened their eyes yet. 🖤🐾

Safe to say we got a little less productive after these five arrived.

Now we're curious... what's your weakness when it comes to puppies?

🐾 Tiny paws
😴 Sleepy cuddles
👅 Puppy breath
❤️ Or all of the above like us today 😍

This little one is only about 2.5 weeks old and should still be with its mom.

Instead, someone found the kitten and brought it to us.

Since kittens this young can't eat on their own, Emily has been bottle feeding every few hours while also helping with the constant care they need at this age.

Outside of Banks, Emily partners with Wescott Acres Pet Rescue, helping rescue and rehome animals that need a second chance.

Caring for animals goes far beyond the exam room. ❤️🐾
