The 4th stop for the world championship blacksmiths will be at the Virginia state fair, October 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I'll be there competing and we love spectators! Everybody come on down and watch some of the best farriers in the business compete.

Farrier Mike Poe was the clinician at the New Mexico Professional Horseshoers' Association's clinic July 11 in Ruidoso, N.M., and led the audience through his procedure for shoeing horses.

Another amazing year competing in the WCB. Ended up ninth overall and that can't begin to describe how much I've learned this year. Can't thank my fellow competitors and the entire Trnka family for the education they've helped me to gain.
