Level 1 Training starts with heeling: walking at your side instead of pulling ahead or lagging behind. It sounds simple until you add a busy sidewalk, another dog across the street, or a squirrel. That's exactly where Level 1 does its work, building a heel that holds up under real conditions, not just in an empty room.

Your puppy will learn to heel, walking shoulder to nose at your side, and hold a sit-stay for three minutes and a down-stay for five, even with people trying to tempt them off with food. That kind of follow-through doesn't happen by accident. It comes from you learning exactly how to ask for it, the same way, every time.
