🐾 June Pet of the Month 🐾

Meet Oakley, a 6-year-old mixed breed who came to us with struggling with digestive problems and constant itching that left his skin irritated and pink - so pink, he had earned the nickname "Olivia Pig" from his family. Despite trying oral allergy treatments, he still wasn't getting relief.

Upon further investigation, we determined Oakley was dealing with both environmental and food allergies. A regimen of Apoquel, a prescription allergy medication, and a prescription hydrolyzed protein diet, his symptoms have improved drastically!

Today, Oakley is able to live comfortably and much less itchy. His skin and coat are healthy again, and his digestive issues are well-managed.

Yesterday, we got to meet Bigoli - and what a special day it was! Not only was it his birthday, but he also showed us just how brave he can be. 🐾

At previous vet visits, Bigoli was anxious around new people and environments, and he would sometimes howl when the exam room door opened and closed. During his visit with us, he sat calmly on the bench next to his owner, quietly observing as we entered the room. He was even more than happy to enjoy some treats!

Bigoli’s owner said it was the best experience he’s ever had at the vet, which meant so much to our team.

We’re so happy to have been part of such a positive experience and look forward to making all his visits less stressful. Help us wish Bigoli a happy birthday in the comments below! 🎉
