Help us congratulate Jon, one of our veterinary assistants, on admission to the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2030! Jon has been with us since 2025. His favorite memories with us include helping with new puppy appointments! He is particularly excited to get to work with Raptor Rehab. We will be missing him, but wish him all the best!

Help us congratulate Annabelle, one of our veterinary assistants, on admission to the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2030! Annabelle has been with us since 2023. Her favorite memories with us are the times she has assisted with emergency surgeries to remove gastrointestinal foreign bodies. She is most excited about Anatomy Lab. We will definitely miss her, but wish her all the best!

🐾 June Pet of the Month 🐾

Meet Oakley, a 6-year-old mixed breed who came to us with struggling with digestive problems and constant itching that left his skin irritated and pink - so pink, he had earned the nickname "Olivia Pig" from his family. Despite trying oral allergy treatments, he still wasn't getting relief.

Upon further investigation, we determined Oakley was dealing with both environmental and food allergies. A regimen of Apoquel, a prescription allergy medication, and a prescription hydrolyzed protein diet, his symptoms have improved drastically!

Today, Oakley is able to live comfortably and much less itchy. His skin and coat are healthy again, and his digestive issues are well-managed.
