Some goodbyes take a little longer, and this one was worth every extra day.

Maisie stayed with us a few weeks past her go home date while her family got the new farm ready and finished up their summer vacation together. We could have seen that as an inconvenience. Instead it turned into one of our favorite stretches of the whole year. She got extra time in our kitchen, extra time in the yard, extra time being carried around by four kids who were in no hurry to give her up.

And then this happened. Look at that little girl's face. Look at how tightly she is holding on. This is exactly what we hope for every single time, a puppy who lands in a home where she is going to be adored, and a family who waited and planned and made sure everything was ready before she got there. Maisie hit the jackpot.

That is a wrap on our 2026 litter, and honestly, on one of the best years we have had. Every one of these puppies went to a family that loved them before they ever met them. We got the photos, the updates, the videos, the first day at the vet, the first swim. It never gets old.

To everybody who followed along this year, who liked and shared and commented and cheered these puppies on from all over, thank you. You made a little home based operation in Columbia, Tennessee feel like it had a whole extended family standing behind it. Our kids read your comments out loud at the dinner table. That is not something we take lightly.

Misty is Dallas now, and she flew home to Long Beach yesterday 🥰

We met her mom at the Nashville airport. We had done video calls, sent pictures, sent videos, done all of it for weeks. None of that prepares you for watching the two of them meet for the first time. It was instant. You could see it happen.

Dallas flew home in cabin, right there in her mom's lap, on her way to California 🏖

Pixie has a new name and a new family. Meet Ruby 😍

Her mom and the three older kids drove down and met us in Columbia. They already have a ten year old Aussiedoodle named Finn, so Ruby is walking into a house that knows exactly what she is about.

Here is the part that got us. Ruby was a surprise birthday gift for their youngest daughter. She had no idea. The reaction was every bit as good as they were hoping it would be, and that second picture is what it looked like about four seconds later.

Ruby is going to be spoiled rotten. Finn has some catching up to do.

Well, friends, it is official. Daisy went home today, and with that, every single one of our 2026 puppies has found their forever family.

Daisy landed with the most wonderful people, right here in Columbia. She will have plenty of land to run and play, and she is going to be spoiled rotten. We could not have hand picked a better home for her.

To everyone who followed along this year, who shared our posts, who cheered these babies on and sent us the kindest messages, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason these puppies found such amazing families.

Watching each one head off to a home that already loves them is the very best part of what we do.

Our hearts are so full tonight. Liberty and Junior did us proud again, and now we get to breathe, rest up, and start dreaming about next spring.

What a couple of days. I am still trying to wrap my head around it 🥹

In four litters, we have never had a week like this one. Families drove in, sat down on our living room floor, and fell in love right there in front of us. One by one, these puppies found their people.

Today alone we had three families in the house at the same time. Contracts on the kitchen table, puppies in every arm, and a whole lot of happy tears. Yesterday was just as wild.

Here are three of the sweet babies who left for their forever homes. Look at those happy faces. This is the whole reason we do this.

Out of a litter of eleven, we are now down to one 🐾. Her name is Daisy. She is a blue merle girl, one of the prettiest of the entire litter, and she turns 8 weeks old tomorrow. She is the last little one still waiting on her family.

Thank you to every family who welcomed one of Liberty and Junior's babies this year. And thank you to everyone who has followed along, shared our posts, and cheered us on from Columbia and beyond. It means everything to our little family here😍

Lottie found her people today 😍

She went home with Melissa and her family, right here close to home, and those smiles in this picture tell the whole story.

Lottie was our quiet leader. She never needed to be the loudest one in the room. You would find her right in the middle of the puppy pile, calm as could be, usually half asleep and perfectly content. She is the easiest girl to photograph because she just settles in and lets you love on her.

A calm, cuddly, gentle soul like this one does not come along in every litter. Melissa, your family is in for years of sweet company.

Some goodbyes have been a long time coming.

Otis (our sweet Diesel) went home today with the Cromer family, and this one was extra special. Joey and Ruth reserved their spot back in the spring, before this litter had even opened their eyes. They have been counting down the days ever since.

Otis was the big brother of the whole crew. Always the first to wrestle, always the one gently pinning down a sibling, then flopping over for a cuddle two minutes later. He is a charmer and a lover, and he settles right into your arms the second you pick him up.

Watching a family wait that patiently and then finally get to hold their boy, it never gets old. Welcome home, Otis. You are going to be so loved.

Somewhere down the road, when our kids are grown and telling stories about growing up in Columbia, we hope this is one of the ones they tell. The summer the whole house revolved around a litter of puppies.

It really does take all of us. One of them is up before the sun for the first feeding. Another is out in the yard at dusk, sitting in the grass while the pups figure out how to eat from a pan for the very first time. Somebody always ends up flat on their back on the porch with a puppy curled up beside them, worn slap out from a long day of playing. And there is always a little one who just wants to hold the puppy that picked him.

This is the fourth litter we have raised together as a family, and it never gets old. Our kids learn responsibility, patience, and what it means to care for something small that depends on you completely. They learn that love looks like early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of clean up in between. We hope they carry these summers with them for the rest of their lives.

And here is the part that makes it all worth it. Every one of these puppies is loved on by four kids from the very first day. They are held, talked to, played with, and snuggled around the clock. By the time they head off to their forever families, they already know what it feels like to be part of one.

That is the whole heart behind Muletown Doodles. Family raised, home grown, and sent off ready to love somebody new.

What a way to spend a summer. What a blessing to share it.

Pluto found his forever family, and this one is a sweet story. 🐾❤️

Meet Hannah and Tanner from Franklin, Tennessee. These two are getting married later this summer, and Pluto gets to be part of their happily ever after. What a gift to start a marriage with. 💍

Here is the part that got us. They already have an Aussiedoodle named Thor who looks just like Pluto. Two peas in a pod. So Pluto is going home to a big brother who already knows the ropes, and a family that already loves this breed. 🐶🐶

They are renaming him Ember, and we could not love it more.

Watching one of our babies go home to people this kind never gets old.

There is nothing quite like watching a litter grow up right here in our home.

Every single one of these babies looks a little different from the next, and that is exactly what we love about Aussiedoodles. Same mama (Liberty) and same daddy (Junior), yet look at this bunch. Blue merle, red merle, black and white tuxedo, tri color, and those dreamy ice blue eyes. No two coats alike.

Our whole family has poured into this litter since day one. The kids have held them, named them, and loved on them from their very first week. Getting to raise these puppies together, under one roof, is a blessing we never take for granted.

They are growing up so fast, and watching their little personalities come out is our favorite part of every year. We feel lucky we get to do this as a family.
