Wilma’s has been a long term resident at our sanctuary. She’s only got one eye. 💜

She has been having issues with her eye recently and had an ulcer develop in it. The vet diagnosed her with eyelid agnesis, which is a congenital defect in cats, causing part of the eyelid to fail to develop, often leading to eye irritation, corneal damage & the need for vet intervention. The vet agreed he wanted to try to fix her eyelid. Surgery went well ☺️ they fixed her eyelid so she shouldn’t get another ulcer in it again. She’s on pain medication & eye medication.

If anyone wants to help with supportive care, food & supplies to help her on her healing journey we would greatly appreciate it! 🥰

‼️ Our Sanctuary needs YOUR help. ‼️
We’re looking for people willing to do weekly or monthly donations so we can continue rescuing cats and kittens that need help, while providing support and care to the ones we have here at the sanctuary. We currently have 29 cats we’re taking care of and more people are reaching out for help.

Here’s what we need for support:
• Weekly donations- $12 Tuesdays
You would get to pick a name for a kitten that comes into our Sanctuary & we keep you updated on their adoption status.
• Monthly Donations: $50 or more
You would get to Name 2 kittens that come into our sanctuary and we keep you updated on their adoption status. If you want to adopt from us it would be free of charge 😻
• One Time Donation: 100 dollars or more you would get to name a kitten that comes into our sanctuary. If you want to adopt from us it would be free of charge 😻 We would also send you pictures and videos of the kitten you named and keep you posted on their adoption status.
