If you’ve ever wanted to be a foster, you don’t want to miss out on these little guys! 🥹

Jack (9yo, 23 lbs) and Felix (10yo, 16lbs) are a bonded pair of senior fellas looking for a new foster home. They are gentle, compassionate, great on walks and the cutest little duo around.

They are currently being fostered in Connecticut but Pep’s Pals can transport them anywhere we find a loving foster home!

✨ Feel Good Friday ✨

There’s nothing better than hearing from our adopters, and this week’s update absolutely made our day.

When Sia (who now goes by a new name!) first came to us, her story was heartbreaking. She and her siblings were found abandoned in a shoebox on the side of a busy road. Thanks to an incredible foster who bottle-fed them around the clock and gave them the love and care they needed, they all got a second chance.

Today, that tiny puppy has grown into a happy, deeply loved family member. Receiving updates like this reminds us that every rescue, every foster, and every adoption is worth it.

From a shoebox on the side of the road to a life filled with love—this is what rescue is all about. ❤️

🚨 URGENT: HELP GRAHAM FIGHT CANCER 🚨

Just when we thought Graham’s worst days were behind her, we’ve been dealt another heartbreaking blow.

Many of you may remember Graham, the sweet 2-year-old survivor we rescued from San Antonio ACS after she suffered devastating injuries from being hit by a car. She arrived with multiple wounds, extensive abrasions, and a severe degloving injury that nearly cost her a leg. Despite everything she endured, Graham never stopped wagging her tail or leaning in for love. ❤️

Now Graham is facing another battle.

A mass was recently discovered on her right front leg, and our veterinarian believes it is a mast cell tumor. Mast cell tumors can range from low grade to aggressive cancer, but the only way to know is through surgery and pathology.

Graham needs surgery to remove the tumor as soon as possible. Once removed, the mass will be sent to a laboratory for testing to determine whether the cancer has spread and what treatment, if any, may be needed next.

This sweet girl has already fought so hard to survive. She deserves the chance to keep fighting.

Willow needs a hero! She was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. She is a 2 yr old black lab who gets along with cats, kids, and dogs. She is the perfect family dog but is very confused and anxious about being in the shelter. Willow needs a foster so we can get her in a home. Meet Coqueta Dos and Hermosa Dos ❤️❤️
These two beautiful Husky girls have lost the only home they’ve ever known through absolutely no fault of their own. They were owner surrendered.
💔 Now they find themselves scared and confused in a shelter environment, relying heavily on one another for comfort.
🐾 Coqueta Dos�• 1 year old�• Red & White Siberian Husky
🐾 Hermosa Dos�• 7 months old�• Siberian Husky Mix
These girls are under-socialized and have had very little exposure to the world outside their home. They are not leash trained and will need patience, guidance, and positive socialization to help them build confidence. Despite their fears, they are incredibly sweet dogs who have already begun forming bonds with a few trusted shelter staff members.
Every day they are gaining confidence, but the shelter is not where they belong. What they need is a safe, loving foster home willing to give them the chance they’ve never had.
✨ We would love to see them stay together as they continue to learn that the world can be a safe place.
If you have experience with shy dogs, Huskies, or simply have a big heart and room to help, please consider opening your home to these deserving girls. They are waiting for someone to believe in them.
