Last week, we wore 💖🌸 PINK 🦩🩷 to celebrate the final day of on-site CAPTE review on our accreditation journey at my “day-job” 🫠, Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Manchester University. (And because Wednesdays… iykyk 💅)

This week, we traded pink for ponies and attended an educational seminar on nutrition and foot care for metabolic horses. 🐴💙

Moral of the story?! Never 👏 Stop 👏 Learning 👏

❄️🥶💙 Hello out there!! 💙🥶❄️

Just checking in on all my fellow Midwest Equestrian Enthusiasts! Are we still enthusiastic? I’m apathetic at best…😂 Just kidding!! We’re doing well and staying warm here at the farm…

But let’s hope the groundhog was wrong!! 🍃🌼☀️😎

2026 - The Year of the Horse

The Year of the Fire Horse, to be more specific.

The fire element amplifies the Horse’s natural energy - encouraging bold decisions, creativity, and strong leadership.

2026 is the time for breaking old patterns, pursuing our genuine selves, and making significant progress in any and all facets of life.

This year, I’m challenging myself to trust my intuition and follow what truly excites me. To wake up each day and choose gratitude. To set my sights on goals and not waiver, knowing that progress, no matter how slow, is still worth celebrating.

Will you join me??

Pictures of our first equine outing of 2026 and a very brave Petey as he recovers from his foreign body surgery to set the tone of strength and determination for the year.
