You may be surprised by how much veterinary care can be provided directly on your farm!

Colquitt Animal Hospital offers ambulatory veterinary services for cattle, horses, goats, sheep, and pigs. From routine preventive care to urgent medical problems, Dr. Dawson Clark works with livestock and horse owners to provide practical veterinary care where their animals are located.

Our service area includes Southwest Georgia, the Florida Panhandle, and Southeast Alabama.

The flyer below highlights many of the services we offer, but it is not an all-inclusive list. If you have a need that is not listed, or you are unsure whether we can help, call Colquitt Animal Hospital and ask for Dr. Clark.

Please share this post with a producer, livestock owner, or horse owner who may benefit from having a large animal veterinarian come directly to the farm!

🎉 Meet Dr. Dawson Clark, our new large animal veterinarian!
A proud Millen, Georgia native, Dr. Clark grew up working with cutting horses and on a commercial cow-calf operation. That hands-on experience ignited his lifelong passion for large animal medicine.
He went on to earn his Animal Science degree from the University of Georgia, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. While there, he focused heavily on large animal and production cattle medicine.
Dr. Clark now lives in Colquitt with his wife Victoria and their two dogs, Opal and Fred. He’s excited to be back in southwest Georgia serving the agricultural community he cares so deeply about.
Starting this week, he’ll be scheduling farm calls! While he’ll see some small animal patients, his primary focus is large animal medicine — especially equine and cattle care.
If you have horses, cattle, or other livestock that need exceptional care, Dr. Clark is ready to help. Give us a call to schedule a farm visit!
We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team. Welcome, Dr. Clark! 🐴🐮
