Don't feed your dog ranch. It has onions and garlic and is high in fat. Curi is a big dog and that teeny bit won't hurt him. Ours is homemade and mostly low fat sour cream anyway.

But it is hilarious that he won't touch most veggies unless they have dip. Kaia and Spy by comparison ate all the peels and ends as I was preparing our afternoon snack. Their standards are lower than Curiosity.

I had just helped Curi with his inside out ear, so he offered to help me with sandwich tasting. 🤣 Since the sandwich had grape jelly, I didn't share it, but I gave each dog a little taste of peanut butter on a spatula. Kaia got some too, I just couldn't get all 3 spatulas while also holding the camera and she's more willing to wait patiently than Curi and Spy!

Kaia has arthritis in her shoulder and geriatric onset laryngeal paralysis and polyneuropathy. She's walking around half groomed because that's all she could tolerate at once. It's hard as she's covered in lipomas and skin tags and can't stand for too long at once. She's 13 and 7 months, which is very senior for an ACD/giant schnauzer mix.

It's hard to have a declining senior dog, and realizing Curi sees it too adds another layer to it. Kaia's high-stepping has gotten worse, and he notices something is wrong too.

Huge thank you to for the amazing prize package they sent us for We're about a week into using the CBD with Kaia, and it seems to be helping. We got more grooming done than we have in ages, and she's still weak and wobbly, but she's happier, calmer, making efforts to play, and VERY eager for her tasty medicine treats. These CBD infused treats are proving to be a wonderful addition to her comfort care medications and PT regimen. Thank you.

I made pupusas for lunch. Curi had some big feelings about it. I find it interesting that he put the adjective bad after his noun, smell, and then 2 minutes later he switched his word order and put the adjective first.

He kept complaining about the smell, but he also licked my plate when I was done! It was delicious.

We went to Bark at the Park today with and had a blast! Spy LOVES all the attention from kids and the new friends.

Giant schnauzers make even Batman look more badass. Then we met Dennis the Emu, a Colorado Springs Thing. Curi thought Dennis was suspicious, but Spy was happy with her new friend. Of course Curi hopped in every pool he saw to cool down.

Spy fell in love with a mini schnauzer. We met at least a dozen today, but this one she wanted to just go home with. Curi was indifferent. He was too busy watching for suspicious characters like Batman and Dennis.

Spy and Curi have gotten summer cuts! I forgot to get before and afters for Curi, but Spy's was quite the transformation...

Spy and Curi have gotten summer cuts! I forgot to get before and afters for Curi, but Spy's was quite the transformation! I'll do Kaia over the next week. She cannot stand long and needs to be done in little bits for her comfort. Also my body needs to recover from grooming 2 dogs!

Curi is working hard. He has alerted today and is now catching items that fall behind my loom! I'm hemstitching a rug right now and about to start another!
