Stay cool out there, friends, along with all your family members! Keep your animal family cool and comfy along with you. 🌞🧊 Anyone can be affected by heat stress.

Take extra special precautions with the high-risk animals in your life, including animals who are short-snouted or short-faced (like pugs & Persian cats), animals who snore or have airway problems, the elderly or ill, the very young, anyone who has had heatstroke before, animals who are overweight, animals who have recently moved to a hotter climate, animals who are exercising vigorously, and animals who are caged or confined and unable to seek a cooler environment.

Keep them safe and comfortable -- and know the signs of heat stress in your animal friends and what to do if trouble arises.
