K9 Boomer, a School Resource Officer, has retired from the Fountain Police Department after serving the Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 since 2022. Boomer will continue his life at home with his handler, Sergeant Melissa Warden. He will also be walking the stage with the 2026 graduating class on Saturday!

A man is in custody, and about 26 pounds of co***ne was seized this week in Colorado along I-25. As of Friday morning, the suspect was in jail on a $50,000 bond.
