An amazing way to put in gates on irrigation pipe. I know I dropped the gate in the pipe but I got it out. Cut me some slack it was wicked early and we only had a couple of hours of sleep! Lol and dont mind the dogs they are crazy sometimes!!!

Planting this weekend!!! Rich is trying to get the alfalfa and oats in the ground before we get water. It rained so he had to stop planting for the day. But he got the bigger fields planted before that happened. Late evening we finally got water. We have a couple of flooded spots but they are working on getting them fixed. Rich spent all night making sure all the debris coming down the ditch was out of the way so we could get every ounce of water. And of coarse trying to make sure the rodents dont eat out crops lol!

Well we havent had much time for posting on our page lately. We have done so much the last few months!!! Here are some of my favorite pictures I've taken along the way!!!! We have learned so much on this journey and theres so much more to be learned!!! Everyday is a different adventure. If someone told me at 40 that I would be learning how to farm I would have told them that they are crazy!!! I wouldn't change this for the world. We work 40+ hours a week at our regular jobs and then spend our weekends working on the farm!! Its an amazing experience and I am thankful for every single day!!!

Hi guys!! So I'm posting these pictures and videos a little late. Last weekend Rich, his Dad and our amazing friend Robert prepped the fields. They spent all weekend making sure the fields are ready to plant Winter Wheat. Thank you to our friend Robert who took time out of his busy life to help us. These pictures and videos were taken by Rich because unfortunately I wasnt there.
This weekend we will start planting!! I'm so excited!!

Last night we drove the tractor to the farm. 10 MPH and 14 hours later we made it!! Omg I think that was the longest toad trip ever!!! Lol but it was totally worth it. I'm sorry I forgot to take pictures. I'll take some next weekend when we finish working on the disk.

Today we picked up the disc. It wasnt as heavy as we thought it was going to be. With a little help we got it on the trailer perfectly. There are a few things that need to be fixed on it but soon we should have her up and running!! We are now another step closer to actually putting in work. We are planning on planting some winter wheat by the first or second week in october!!! So super excited!!!

Today we took the "A" to Wrong Way Ranch to see if it would pull the plow.....and by golly g it sure does!!!! This tractor hasn't touched dirt in over 60 years!!! Now its finally doing what it was built in 1937 to do!!!

Here are a few pictures from today!! I'm sorry there aren't very many but it was a really super windy day! Hopefully next weekend we will get better ones for you!!
