🐾 Trainer Tip of the Day: Your Dog is Not Ignoring You... They're Running a Background Check 🐾

Ever call your dog's name and get that look?

👀 "I heard you."
👀 "I understood the assignment."
👀 "However, I am currently reviewing a squirrel-related opportunity and will get back to you shortly."

Dogs don't automatically generalize behaviors the way humans do. Just because they know "come" in the living room doesn't mean they instantly understand it applies at the park, on a trail, or when a squirrel has filed an official distraction request.
