It is very important to properly cycle your aquarium before adding any live animals or plants to your system A lot of the beneficial bacteria starters sold in the market will not cycle your aquarium properly. Using a seeded sponge filter guarantees to add in all the essiantial nitrifying bacteria that is required to fully cycle your aquarium. $20 each.
