Sandra Jacobson who owns Paws Up k9 academy, totally flabbergasted me, by sending me a false request for "training " her dog . She used my professional platform for connecting with customers Im going to post a copy of her request. She then sent me a text telling me what she did.
She was so surprised that I was not happy. She was trying to get inside information about my business
Thats is sneaky and dishonest
I am dismayed that a supposed professional would stoop to that level of behavior

How Manipulators Hide in Plain Sight
Manipulative people often hide their true nature by mistreating a select few while charming everyone else. This selective behaviour allows them to maintain a positive public image while exercising control in private.
To outsiders, they may appear generous, calm, or even admirable. They know how to perform kindness when it is visible and rewarded. However, behind closed doors, the behaviour shifts. Criticism replaces support. Empathy disappears. Boundaries are ignored. The contrast is deliberate.
By treating only certain individuals poorly, the manipulator creates confusion and isolation. When the victim speaks up, they are often met with disbelief. Others struggle to reconcile the charming version they see with the harmful one being described. This doubt protects the manipulator and silences the person being mistreated.
This tactic also erodes self-trust. The targeted individual may question their own perception, wondering why they experience a version of someone that no one else seems to see. Over time, this leads to self-blame and emotional withdrawal.
Selective mistreatment is not inconsistency - it is strategy. It allows manipulation to continue without accountability. Healthy people are consistent in their behaviour, regardless of the audience. When someone's kindness depends on who is watching, it reveals intention rather than character. Recognising this pattern restores clarity and helps break the isolation created by the performance.
