When a worried pet parent rushes in, our goal is always the same: be kind, act quickly, and make sure they never feel alone in the process. Reviews like this remind us why that matters so much. The trust you place in us during scary moments is something we never take lightly.

We’re grateful to be here for your pups when they need us most, and even more grateful for the families who share their experiences with us.

Being located close to Fort Carson means we have the privilege of serving many military families, and it’s something our team truly values. Your dedication, your resilience, and the sacrifices you make don’t go unnoticed here.

As a small way of saying thank you, we offer a military discount with a valid military ID at every visit. Whether you’re active duty, reserve, retired, or part of a military family, we want to make caring for your pets a little easier and a lot more supportive.

We’re always here to help, and we’re grateful to be part of your community.

Because this winter was warmer than usual, rattlesnakes are already starting to come out and soak up the sun. As you and your pets enjoy outdoor adventures, it’s important to remember that rattlesnake bites can be life‑threatening, and the ONLY effective treatment is antivenom.

If you think your pet may have been bitten, watch for signs such as:

• Weakness, lethargy, or inability to move
• Shaking or twitching
• Dilated pupils
• Vomiting
• Loss of bladder control
• Blood in urine
• Trouble breathing
• Drooling
• Bleeding at the bite site
• Paralysis or collapse

Even if your pet isn’t showing symptoms yet, don’t wait. Snake bite symptoms can progress quickly, and early treatment is critical.

If your pet is bitten by a snake, bring them in immediately. We’re here to help!

We hope you and your pets enjoy a wonderful holiday!

Quick reminder: we’ll be open with our normal hours all Easter weekend, so we’re here if you need us.

A couple of pet‑safety tips for the day:
🍫 Chocolate is toxic to pets — keep those Easter treats well out of reach!
🥚 Easter egg hunts can be risky — pets may choke on plastic eggs or gobble up hidden candy.

If anything seems off or you need us, don’t hesitate to call or stop by.
Wishing you and your furry family a safe and happy Easter!

When your pet’s condition is changing fast, quick action matters.
Emergencies don’t always start dramatically, but they can get serious fast. If your pet is getting worse, seems unstable, or is in increasing discomfort, don’t wait and hope it gets better.

Getting care at the first sign of decline can prevent sudden deterioration, pain, and complications. If something feels wrong, trust your instincts and come in. It can make all the difference.
