**PPVC CLOSURE** Bucky with the flex-o-roll letting you know that when we roll the phones tonight, we will be closed until 12:30pm tomorrow, October 15, for our monthly staff training. **HOLIDAY SWAG FUNDRAISER** The wind is blowing in cooler nights, which means its time to order your festive decorations for the upcoming holidays. Halloween gets scarier every year. With all the ghouls in the neighborhood, you want to make sure your pet is safe and not scared. Let's review so you can plan ahead!
1. Don't feed your pet any Halloween treats - chocolate and xylitol can be toxic; raisins can cause kidney failure; all that sugar is not great for people, let alone pets!
2. Make sure your pet is microchipped and has their collar on during the treat-or-treating madness. If they escape through an open door while you're not looking, it will be much easier to reunite with them!
3. If your pet is a nosy bu**er, keep lit candles, costumes, jack-o-lanterns and other items of interest out of reach.
4. Planning to dress them up? Make sure their costume fits well and doesn't have pieces that they can easily chew off and swallow. Also, make sure they can breathe properly and get a drink through the costume. Gizmo's got the QB spirit!
