Bandit is almost ready for his forever home!

✨ He is a 3 year old sooty buckskin gelding, facility born, out of a Twin Peaks CA mare. He stands about 14h, and still has an inch or two of growing left to do.

✨ Bandit will be able to be caught and haltered, lead, stand tied, handle all 4 feet, trailer load, and stand for grooming.

✨ He's a sweet fella with a goofy personality. I feel like he's a great horse for a first time Mustang adopter.

Miss rogue had a big day today!💜

Rogue has been a little trickier to begin. She blind panicked and crashed into things so hard she would throw herself to the ground when we would exist near her pen in the beginning. So many tiny micro sessions of petting her once or feeding her a treat every time I had 5 minutes to set aside. This last week she’s finally decided to give this whole people thing a try and she’s been doing amazing since!

Lead outside of her pen for the first time and she did significantly better than expected. A lot of stopping and looking around 🙌

If I didn't have so many I'd be keeping her for myself.

Picasa is a 5 year old mare from Muskrat Basin WY. She stands about 14.2 to 14.3h. She has been slow to gentle because she injured herself fairly severely at pickup at BLM and I wanted to let her heal and make sure she was sound.

She's fully healed now and will be looking for her forever person in the coming weeks. She had her first lesson leading outside today and did phenomenal.

Located just outside Colorado Springs. Training fee and BLM approved adoption application required.

This is HUGE for this mare. I've had her almost a whole year now, and she has been snorty, flighty, and bolty almost the entire time. I was actually considering returning her to BLM rather than titling her. But in the last few weeks something finally clicked for her! She is turned out in regular fencing, able to be caught (although it sometimes takes a bit of patience), and is leading outside without just immediately bolting and dragging one of us down and rope burning us. She's SO gorgeous. And too smart for her own good 😅 Hopefully this girl will be going overseas in the near future.
