Wild At Heart Mustangs I am a trainer for BLM Mustangs, located in Peyton, just 20 minutes east of Colorado Springs.

I have 25 years experience working with Mustangs, and I pride myself in placing well-rounded horses in fitting homes where they're set up for success.

Wren is ready to find her forever person 💕

She's a 7 year old mare from Paisley OR, and stands about 14.2h. She was severely neglected and starved, and was dumped at an auction. She's gained a lot of weight and is building her muscle and topline back up, has graduated gentling, and now is ready for her own person to continue her training.

She's very calm, not overly reactive, and retains training well. With the right training she could even make a kids horse.

Wren is still wary of being caught and haltered, but leads and ties well once caught. She can be groomed, handles feet, has had a saddle pad on her several times, trailer loads, lunges in the round pen, and respects pasture fences.

She is located just east of Colorado Springs. Training fee applies, with part of it going back to Colorado Horse Rescue Network

Available mustangs! Located in Colorado Springs. Different levels of gentled.

Ponderosa- 6 year old dark sorrel/liver mare from Little Colorado WY. About 15h and extremely stocky. This is a very big mare and she knows it, and she isn't afraid to throw her weight around. Not aggressive or mean at all, just big and can be pushy. Will need an experienced adopter.

Pinion- 5/6 year old dark seal brown/black mare from Twin Peaks CA. 15.1h and sporty. Just starting gentljng, and doing very well. Gentle enough for a first time adopter with horse experience, but spicy enough to have tons of personality and be fun.

Orion- 5 year old blue roan gelding. Facility born, out of a Stewart Creek WY mare. 14.3h. Sweet and friendly. Has been saddled, bridled, lunged, and respects pasture fences. Will be priced higher than my normal gentling fee. I got him with intentions of keeping him, but I honestly just have too many personal horses and he deserves to be someone's primary focus.

All will meet at least basic gentling requirements. Catch and halter, lead, stand tied, groom, handle all 4 feet, and trailer load. Some will be father along in training. All are either titled or sale authority, so no BLM paperwork required. Most will be 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣.

Wren is a 6 year old mare from Paisley OR. Believe it or not this is an improvement. She was rescued from an auction where a Christian ministry dumped her.

She was adopted as a yearling, never gentled, tossed out in a field with a stallion, then discarded after they collected AIP money and bred her. She's severely underweight and has awful feet.

In a week or two she'll be vetted, have her teeth and feet done, and preg checked.

Once healthy and fully gentled she will be looking for a permanent home.
