Meet Guthrie, one of our sweet Diamond pups! 🐶 Guthrie can be a pretty anxious guy, so his groomer took a little extra time, patience, and love to help him feel comfortable during his spa day. 💙

Sometimes grooming means a little extra TLC.

This sweet girl found herself in a sticky situation after getting into a fly trap strip the day before her appointment. Thankfully, she was in good hands! Ms. Meri took the extra time and care needed to gently remove the residue and get her feeling clean, comfortable, and beautiful again. We LOVE hearing when our clients notice those little extra efforts. Thank you, Margaret, for trusting Team Diamond with your doodles!

Happy Dogs. Happy Life.

This sweet pup may experience the world a little differently — being both blind and deaf — but you certainly don’t need sight or sound to know when you feel safe, loved, and happy.

And THAT smile says everything. ❤️

Kristine takes a little extra time, patience, and care to make sure this sweet soul feels comfortable and secure throughout the grooming process. Moments like this are such a beautiful reminder that grooming is about so much more than a fresh haircut.

✨ Groomer Spotlight: Lizbeth ✨

Ms. Lizbeth discovered her passion for professional dog grooming in 2023 after starting as a dog bather while living in San Diego. In 2025, we were excited to welcome her to the Diamond Team, where her talent, positivity, and dedication have continued to shine.

What motivates Lizbeth most is seeing the incredible transformations of the pets she grooms and the joy on each pet parent's face after their spa day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, fishing and hunting, and relaxing at home with their beloved Rat Terrier and Chiweenie.

This past year marked an exciting milestone in Lizbeth's grooming career as she stepped into the competition ring for the very first time. Teaming up with Lizzy and Standard Poodle, Sundae, in the Dynamic Duo competition, the team earned an impressive 2nd Place, along with Best First Timer and Best Scissored honors—a remarkable debut!

Lizbeth's goals are to continue growing as both a groomer and a person, give back by grooming shelter pets in need, and continue competing to refine her skills. Her passion for learning, uplifting attitude, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of Team Diamond, and we can't wait to watch her continue to grow.

Lizzy worked her magic on these sweet faces, and we think they turned out absolutely adorable! Every groom is customized to fit each dog's coat, comfort, and personality, because they deserve nothing less.

That's a wrap on Rocky Mountain Groom Expo 2026!

What an unforgettable weekend of learning, competing, shopping, laughing, eating great food, and making memories together. We always come home inspired, and this year was no exception.

A huge congratulations to Team Diamond!
🏆 Meri & Sammie earned 3rd Place in Salon Freestyle.
🏆 Lizzy & LizBeth with Sundae brought home 2nd Place in Dynamic Duo, Best First Timer, and the Best Scissored Award.
💙 Liz stepped into the ring with Star and, while she didn't bring home a ribbon this time, we're incredibly proud of her hard work, courage, and commitment to growing as a competitor.

And we can't forget our youngest Team Diamond member... Mark even won a raffle basket and is already talking about starting a Junior Team Diamond Competition Team! We'd better start practicing! 😂

To the Rocky Mountain Groom Expo team, educators, vendors, competitors, and everyone who made this event possible—thank you for another fantastic year. We can't wait to bring everything we learned back to our clients and pets.
