Meet the Groomer: James
James joined our Diamond Groom Team in 2023 and has been grooming since 2020, including two years as a Salon Leader. His animal experience also includes working as a reptile keeper at Oklahoma zoos and volunteering with animal welfare and adoption events.
His favorite part of grooming is seeing happy pet parents react to their freshly groomed pups. He especially enjoys grooming Poodles for their creativity, while Mastiffs are his favorite breed overall.
At home, James enjoys life with his “amazing wife” and their pets, Briggs, Athena, and Spaz. On his days off, you’ll usually find him hiking, camping, or enjoying the outdoors.
James says DITR stands out because of our focus on quality over quantity and leaders who care about their team. He hopes to build a long career here and compete in grooming competitions in the future. 💎🐾

Shine bright, little diamonds!
Fresh trims, happy faces, and pups looking their absolute best after a little Diamond In The Ruff pampering. We may be biased, but we think these cuties are sparkling. 🤍

✨ GROOMER SPOTLIGHT: KRISTINE ✨

Ms. Kristine has been making pets look and feel their best since 2006! She knew early on that working with animals was where her heart belonged, and that passion still shines through in the care she gives every pet she meets. 🐾

At home, Kristine is surrounded by an incredible crew that keeps her inspired — her son Graham, her wife, and quite the pet family! They share their home with four dogs, four cats, and even a rescue lizard named Charmander. Most of their pets are rescues, and Kristine also fosters animals through the Oklahoma Humane Society. ❤️

When asked to pick a favorite breed, she simply can’t — she loves them all, dogs and cats!

One of Kristine’s favorite things about being part of Diamond In The RUFF is that we put the pets in our care and our team first.

Outside of grooming, Kristine loves family game nights, cards, board games, Nintendo, fantasy romance novels, and pretty much anything involving Star Wars or dragons.

Her favorite quote says it all:“Do or do not. There is no try.” — Yoda

Kristine’s big dream is to someday purchase a larger home with land and create her very own hobby farm — and we can’t wait to watch that dream become reality!

We’re so happy to have Ms. Kristine as part of the Diamond In The RUFF family! 💎🐾
