"I named Doug after four time Iditarod champ Doug Swingley, the first musher from outside of Alaska to win "The Last Great Race on Earth". Named his mom Libby, after Libby Riddles, the first woman to win the Iditarod (1985), and his littermates after four time Iditarod champs Susan Butcher and Martin Buser, and Aliy Zirkle, the first female musher to win the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race (2000). Though these kitties started out with a bleak existence, they became WINNERS."

Three Weeks and Still Waiting...
Max and Zeus have now spent three weeks at PetSmart, patiently waiting for someone to see just how special they are. These sweet boys are a bonded pair, which means they've spent their lives together and need to be adopted together.

Sammy is an incredibly handsome 11-year-old gentleman looking for a peaceful place to call home. His world changed when his beloved owner moved into a memory care facility after spending nearly his entire life together.
For eleven years, Sammy was the only cat in the home, and his owner was his whole world. Because of that, he thrives on one-on-one companionship and loves being close to his person. He is affectionate, loyal, and enjoys the comfort of a calm, predictable environment.
